Having several tablets in the home this made plugging in several more convenient to plug up and charge all at once. It easily holds a little 7 inch tablet, a 10 inch tablet and even a nook color in it's case. With the stand it makes it compact and keeps the screens from getting scratched. The only change I wish is that it had more than 4 slots as I mentioned we have several tablets and such in the house.
